Thanks to CanSat, students get a chance to engage in an original science and engineering project on quite an early stage.
CanSat is a science probe which fits into a beverage can. Its aim is to conduct research and experimentation during a rocket flight, and then a descent with a parachute. Student's teams face the challenge of putting all the necessary satellite functionalities into their CanSat, i.e. power module, communications module, and an onboard computer.
