Granting an honorary patronage is a form of approval for exceptional, non-commercial activities. It is a distinction, emphasising the special nature of projects directly related to the statutory activity of the Copernicus Science Centre. Patronage is awarded to activities that deal with science-related topics, and encourage personal involvement in exploring and understanding the world, as well as taking responsibility for the changes taking place all around.
