During the closing of the 12th Przemiany Festival, we want to summarise all the topics discussed over three days and give ourselves a chance to speculate about the future of our species.
Our guides to various visions of biotechnological human evolution will be: Jacek Dukaj, an outstanding prose writer, essayist, author of award-winning science fiction novels, and Jowita Michalska, the president of Digital University and a new technologies researcher. We will talk about transhumanist projects aiming to radically extend human life, about the limits of improving organic bodies and whether we will ever choose their synthetic substitutes. The discussion will undoubtedly raise more questions than answers, but this is what it is all about when writing scenarios about the future.
